CANOE OR KAYAK: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?

Originally, you paddle a traditional or competition canoe on your knee with a single-bladed paddle and a kayak, seated with a double-bladed paddle. Nowadays, boats of last generation are hybrid: you sit and use whether a single or a double-bladed paddle. Above all, these boats are very solid, unsinkable thanks to their double hull and the more recent ones are even self-bailing! We are used to call mono-place a kayak and 2 places and more, a canoe (third and fourth places are for children only).
